Red Fire (Collective Poem) Revolting Readers

Sitting by the red fire
Brazen shards of flame radiate
Soldiers warm
Soldiers burn
and to ashes left
No woman's land, hand
Waving like the huge branch of a tree

A collective Poem by Revolting Readers after we canvassed for Socialist councillors in Lewisham.
